Canada's Capital Cappies (or CCC) is the name given to the Cappies program operating in Ottawa, ON, Canada.

2007-08 Season

The 2007-08 season, Ottawa's third Cappies season, featured 32 shows performed by 30 schools across the city.[1] With the addition of two private schools and two Gatineau schools, this was the first year to include schools from outside Ottawa's public and Catholic boards.

Award Winners

The annual Cappies Gala was held on June 24, 2008 at the National Arts Centre located in downtown Ottawa. The following winners were announced for each of the 36 award categories.[2] The award winners were decided by nearly 220 critics using a complex online voting system, with the exception of the awards given to the critics themselves. Critic awards were awarded in accordance with a mathematical formula taking into account the number of shows reviewed and the number of times published.

Voting took place at Ottawa's Confederation High School on May 9, 2009.
